The "kids' floor" in an Upper East Side townhouse received a complete revamping from Charlap Hyman & Herrero. A media room, two bedrooms and a nursery comprise a series of textually diverse, layered spaces. Recalling Gio' Ponti's interiors for the Andrea Doria in the 1950s, we used marbleized rubber materials for patterned floors and cabinetry throughout, an assortment of geometric fabrics and a mix of vintage and contemporary furniture.
